Enjoy Beck's Lake Camping and Fishing.

Beck's Lake Campground and Fish Camp is the ideal place to go if you like to get away from it all and be alone with your family. It is located just a few minutes north of Pensacola up Hwy. 29 in Cantonement.
The camp was a busy place back in the seventies but business slacked off and the camp became unused for many years. It was recently purchased by its present owner some four years ago. He has been working on improvements ever since and is looking forward to making it a great success.
The camp is on 420 acres that includes hiking trails and horse trails for you to enjoy. He has several sites for tent camping and currently has a few full hook-ups for RV parking. There's a boat ramp and small store for fishing supplies. The camp has access to the Escambia River via a river canal where the boat ramp is located. They rent self powered boats (kayaks, rowboats, etc) and there's fishing from the bank of the canal as well as up the creek if you don't have a boat.
To get there follow I-10 to the Hwy. 29 north exit. Follow 29 to Cantonement for maybe 8 miles. You will come to a traffic light, take a right. Follow the road 'til the pavement end, then maybe a half mile further and you will see a sign for the camp. Turn left and follow that to the camp. The camp is owned by W. Ted Brown, a real nice guy.
