Joe Patti Sells Only Fresh Seafood
Joe Patti sells fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico. People come from many places to get his fresh seafood. His store is in the heart of Pensacola and he unloads and processes the seafood right from the boats when they return from the gulf. I don't know when he got his business started but he has been here as long as I can remember. Starting back in the late 70s I would go fishing on a commercial snapper boat when in between construction jobs. I did this for some twenty years or so and he was up and running back then. He owns his boats and has his crews so they know how to do it.
His store is always clean and the staff are friendly. They will help and give you any advice you need to prepare your seafood meal. They sell many types of fish from freshwater to saltwater. There are Cajun seafood and other Cajun dishes such as boudin, along with prepared ready for the grill or oven. Crab claws, chicken stuffed with a variety of foods, and sushi. Oysters by the gallon. You can pick up some recipes while you're there and ask the staff how they would prepare the seafood you have purchased. They also sell the side dishes to go with your meal. They are a one stop seafood market with the freshest you'll find anywhere. In my daily activities I often hear folks asking about a place to buy various types of seafood. I usually mention Patti's and tell them all the fixins are here also along with cooking advice.
