Pensacola Adventures Unlimited Canoe and Tube Rentals
Milton is heralded as the canoe capitol of Florida. A U has been a leader
in the canoe and tubing field here for years. Their offerings also include a Ropes Course
that is like an obstacle course to challenge and test your endurance.
When you go for a trip, you show up at the creek side, park your vehicle, go inside to settle with the cashier. You are then loaded on a bus for a ride with the canoes and tubes in tow. At the end of the bus ride, you exit the bus and hang out a few minutes while the crew readys the canoes and/or tubes. Once done, everyone loads on and heads downstream toward their vehicles.
Don't worry about overshooting your target, the crew will be there waiting to pull you in. Some items to bring along: sunscreen, skeeter spray, whatever snacks they allow, some towels, a hat or two, and a camera in a plastic bag in case it rains. Good luck and have a great time.
Here these canoeists are finishing a trip down the creek that ended at the rental site. I asked a couple of them if they enjoyed their trip to which they said "very much, will be back soon."
Lodging is also offered with private or group cabins. There is The Schoolhouse Inn, and camping with cabins.
