Pensacola Attractions are Many and Varied
Some old, some new. From historic to modern, site seeing or just relaxing, Pensacola attractions are many.
The Zoo , located in Gulf Breeze, is a favorite among kids. With over 1200 animals , they will be thrilled at the sight of these. They can feed the giraffes, and there is a petting zoo. You can ride the Safari Line Limited Train as it winds through 30 acres of free roaming animals. There is a Botanical Garden and Wildlife Theater. The Zoo has changed its name. It is now The Gulf Breeze Zoo.
LANDMARKS AND MONUMENTS: A standout landmark of Pensacola is Fort Pickens on the western end of Santa Rosa Island. This old fort has a rich and historical past. Built by the Spaniards in 1698, Fort San Carlos de Barrancas has seen many flags, and was restored. You enter this by drawbridge. 
Located near Pensacola Pass, The Pensacola Lighthouse is a good place to visit.
