There are several colleges in Pensacola of which you can choose and all are easily accessible. I will briefly describe a few here but will dedicate a page to each to get you started.
I'll start with Virginia College in Pensacola at 19 West Garden St. They use small class
sizes and convenient schedules. They have classes in the administrative and medical fields.
Pensacola Christian is located on Brent Lane just off interstate I-110. I visited their campus and found it to be roomy and well designed. Their course index goes from accounting to sports management. The academics are challenging.
Next is Pensacola State College is one of the top in the nation. It has been in around for a long time. I remember being at the student center, why I was there I don't remember, and I watched the first moon landing back in 1969. They teach a wide variety of courses along with skills and trades. I need to say that this college is now called the Pensacola State College. You can find it on 9th Avenue at Airport Blvd.
University of West Florida is on Hwy. 90 as you are heading east out of Pensacola. They offer graduate and under graduate programs, on-line programs,and continuing education.
Whether you plan to stay in the area while you attend school or plan to move here and wish to attend college, you will find a college to meet all your educational needs. While here for your studies you most likely will find recreational and leisure time to offset your studies. With a beach, canoeing, and parks in the area there is plenty to do and see.
