3rd Annual Musicians Memorial Concert
(Seville Quarter on May 28)
The Pensacola Musicians Memorial Administration is accepting offers from local performers for our May 28 event. Your band will be provided with full sound and video production and equipment. We are looking for those who can donate by performing one set (approx 10 songs). Soloists and smaller groups will perform earlier (late afternoon to early evening) and full bands will perform later, until 2a. This is a most admirable cause, and one that benefits everyone involved. Performers receive plenty of exposure, and get to network with others as well as see hundreds of old friends. Last year, almost 1200 people participated, and some came from as far away as California. If interested, please respond with name of act, type of music, number of members, and any experience or recent gigs. Thank you.
P.S. Check back, I am trying to get contact info.
Pensacola
Symphony Orchestra: If classical music is to your liking then a stop here is a must.
One of my good friends, a very good musician and song writer, Len Crossman. I have played music with him in various places over the past few years and enjoyed every minute. For a selection of his music and to meet Len, here is the place: Len Crossman Music. Len has written a great song about "The Big Spill". Once at his page, click the Big Spill play button to hear it. Hope you enjoy meeting Len, one of the very best in Pensacola music.
The Farmer's Opry: .
Besides the live country music music, they also serve some good ol'country vittles while you're there.
