Pensacola real estate offers a huge choice in properties. No matter what your budget allows or your needs
dictate, you will find a Pensacola property to meet those needs. There are many areas both in Pensacola
and the surroundings to choose from. Read along and discover what I mean.
Mitch Lambeth is a hard working, dedicated realtor in the Pensacola area. He is in tune with the Pensacola Real Estate market and able to aid in your search. Mitch is also a friend whom I jam with on occasion. He is in a bluegrass band called The Rowell Family.
I will begin the Pensacola housing search north of Pensacola in the Bellview and Beaulah areas. To reach
these two you will need to travel a short distance down Mobile Hwy. The area has several schools and '
churches located through the area. The Pensacola Fair Grounds are here and so is a Walmart store. Pine
Forest Rd. branches off Mobile Hwy. to go to Interstate 10, but on the way you pass Five Flags Speedway.
This area is where the city meets the country.
Ensley, north on Old Palafox, is a mix of the old and new. It has been slowly changing over the last few
years and is not a terribly busy area. If you crave a little faster pace you might check out Ensley. It
has a good list of churches. Warrington to the west of town falls into this same category.
Let's move south to Gulf Breeze.Follow Hwy. 98 east, over the three mile bridge into this small, ocean
breeze type town. It boasts all you need for shopping and the daily needs. There you will find Tiger
Point Golf Course to stay on par. There are several marinas here to dock you boat and free public boat
ramps. From here you can follow Pensacola Bay west for about 2 miles where you can travel through the
pass to the Gulf of Mexico.
Up Davis Hwy. north to Ferry Pass. This is fairly busy, but growing area with many businesses to offer
a wide variety of goods and services. Interstate 10 runs through Ferry Pass and you will also find
University Mall and University Hospital here. Here you are but a short distance from Pensacola Junior
College and the Regional Airport.
If you travel east over Escambia River and across Escambia Fields you will arrive in Pace, Florida. This
is a growing area and has been for the last few years. It has a great life style to offer with a slower
tempo. Hwy. 90 travels through it going east and west. You will find a couple of golf courses and access
to the bay and river for fishing. There is a Super Walmart, Home Depot, and a movie theater just east.
If you travel a few miles north you will find Chumuckla, Fl. This is a great place to live out in the
country but you are still close to city life.
