Enjoy a weekend of great times at the Pensacola Seafood Festival.

The Pensacola Seafood Festival will feature Gulf Coast Seafood for the weekend. This will only be a small part of the festivities. Last year more than 100,000 were in attendance to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the inviting smells of freshly cooked seafood.

This year's festival will be September 23 - 25, 2011.

If you plan to attend, you will love it here. The kids will have a ball.

Hand Crafted Totems



While there you can browse the arts and crafts of some 175 talented people as they display their creations. Along with the arts and crafts at the Pensacola Seafood Festival there will be featured some of the areas best bands. Come to the south end of Seville Square to Fountain Park where the stage is located. Bring your own chairs and plan a late night of great entertainment and music. There will be beverage booths present serving Pepsi products and adult beverages from Miller.The Pensacola Seafood Grille will feature cooking demonstrations near the gazebo. Local chefs will share their secrets to cooking great seafood, so check it out. There's more.

Splash Dogs Competition is a dock jumping competition for dogs. They compete for distance by jumping from a dock into a 25 foot pool. However, only competition dogs are allowed in the park at Bartram Park at 211 Bayfront Parkway.

For those interested, there will be a 5K run/walk to enjoy. The Pensacola Seafood Festival is filled with good entertainment and plenty of family fun and activity. So plan to stay the day, bring the kids, your lawn chairs, a good appetite, and plenty of good spirit. Oh yeah, don't forget the umbrella, we've been getting plenty of rain lately.

Half of the children’s area net proceeds will be donated to the Gulf Coast Kids House. The mission of the Gulf Coast Kids House is to facilitate the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse and neglect and promote child abuse prevention awareness through community education.
