The Zoo is Awaiting You

Attractions at The Zoo include over 1200 animals to see and photograph. Take a ride on the Safari Limited Train to view free roaming wild animals in a 30 acre enclosure.

In the entrance building as seen in the above photo, there is a gift shop where they have several interesting items to choose from. Refreshments and animal treats are also available.

There is a knowledgable staff to answer your questions or maybe snap a few photos of your entire group.

Take the kids over to the giraffes and hand feed them, they love it. There is a petting zoo for those who haven't been close to farm animals.

Stop by the Wildlife Theater for the daily shows. There is also a Botanical Garden where the beauty is worth the walk to see it.

If you have small children, there are stroller rentals available at a very low price. Wagon rentals are also available.

Open daily from 9am - 5pm. Located at 5701 Gulf Breeze Pkwy. in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Take along your camera and get shots of the kids faces as they watch the animals. It's a priceless treasure you'll continually enjoy.

There are several feeding stations for the various animals also. Buy them some treats and enjoy the animal's company.

On my last trip I did notice something new. It was still hot weather and the animals were harder to spot at midday as they were in the shade of things. Best to go early in the morning or during the change of the season as it is cooler.
